Competitions & Offers

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) are appended to and superseded by any specific terms and conditions published alongside the competition.

Brown Thomas Arnotts Limited (“Brown Thomas Arnotts”) is the ‘Promoter’ in relation to the Competition or Offer unless stated otherwise.

Brown Thomas Arnotts reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time in its sole discretion.

By participating in any Competitions or Offers, you agree to be bound by the relevant terms and conditions applicable to the promotion.

Entry into the competition is free and no purchase is necessary unless stated otherwise in the specific terms and conditions of the competition.

Employees, ex-employees (and their families) of Brown Thomas Arnotts, third parties and all agencies connected to this competition are not eligible to enter.

Winners will be drawn at random from all entries received. The decision will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

One entry per registered user. Brown Thomas Arnotts takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, illegible or non-received entries. Entries must be received by any mechanism described as necessary to enter the competition.

Entry costs (where applicable) are as advertised. Entrants are liable for their costs to access telephone, mobile or computer networks.

Unless otherwise stated, entries must arrive by the published closing date for the competition. Entries received after this time will be disqualified. Brown Thomas Arnotts may, at its discretion, extend the closing date without prior notice.

All entries, photographs or other matter submitted as part of a competition entry shall become the property and the copyright of Brown Thomas Arnotts. Brown Thomas Arnotts reserves the right to transmit them all or in part or use them in any way it thinks fit without the permission of the entrant or payment for such use.

Except where it is expressly stated otherwise, the winner will be the first correct entry or entries drawn at random from the total entries submitted. Other prizes will be awarded in accordance with the order of priority stated with the competition.

Brown Thomas Arnotts reserves the right to change the rules or void the competition at any time.

In the event of a printing or broadcast error (obvious or otherwise), which affects the competition in any way, Brown Thomas Arnotts reserves the right to administer the competition as though the error had not occurred, having informed the entrants, through the original media, of the original text.

Winner(s) of prizes may be published on the Arnotts website or other Arnotts ‘marketing’ channels. Names of winners and results of competitions will be available on request, enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Arnotts Online, Arnotts Department Store, 4th Floor, 12 Henry Street, Dublin 1.

Prize is as stated. There is no cash alternative in any circumstances whatsoever to the prizes offered. Prizes are not transferable unless otherwise stated. If for any reason an advertised prize is unavailable, Brown Thomas Arnotts reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute a similar prize of equivalent or greater value. Only one prize will be awarded per household. Please allow 28 days for delivery of all prizes.

In some competitions, entry may be restricted to entrants of eighteen years and over. However, where there is no age limit or other restriction of entrants in Brown Thomas Arnotts competitions, Brown Thomas Arnotts will not offer an alternative prize to any winner (such as a minor), who for any reason whatsoever is prevented from receiving or making use of the prize offered. Entrants under the age of 18 should seek permission from the bill payer before making an entry via website, phone or mobile phone, and must have permission from their parent or guardian.

If the winner of a competition is unable to take up a prize for any reason, Brown Thomas Arnotts reserves the right to award it to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen will not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever.

If no response is received by the winner(s) of the prize within seventy two (72) hours of being contacted, Brown Thomas Arnotts may dispose of the prize as it thinks fit, without any liability to the winner(s) for having done so.

All winners are required to cooperate with Brown Thomas Arnotts to publicise their win as Brown Thomas Arnotts deems appropriate.

Failure to comply with any of these rules will disqualify an entry from taking part in the competition. Brown Thomas Arnotts reserves the right to disqualify any entry at its absolute discretion.

The decision of Brown Thomas Arnotts is final in all matters concerning a competition. It is a condition of entry to the competition that the entrant agrees to be bound by these, in particular that the decisions of Brown Thomas Arnotts and judges on any matter whatsoever arising out of or connected with the competition are final.

Where prizes are to be provided by a third party, the winner(s) will be required to complete all appropriate or applicable booking or other formalities direct with such provider. Brown Thomas Arnotts will have no responsibility for the acts or defaults of any other persons.

The personal details supplied by entrants will only be used for the purpose of the competition entered unless entrants indicate otherwise upon entering the competition.

The prize is not in conjunction with any other offers, and no cash alternative will be provided.

Competitions and Offers are governed by Irish law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

If any provision of the Promotion Terms (or part of a provision) is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in force.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the Courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

ARNOTTS’ APP PRIZE DRAW

(6th August 2026 – 19th August 2026)

This prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is organised by Brown Thomas Arnotts Limited having its registered office at 92 Grafton Street, Dublin, D02 VF65 (“Arnotts”).
These terms and conditions are the rules which shall apply to the Prize Draw (the “Rules”). By entering into the Prize Draw, you agree to be bound by these Rules.

Entrants

The Prize Draw is open to customers who download and sign-in on the Arnotts’ App between 6th August 2026 and 19th August 2026 (inclusive), the link to download or access the Arnotts’ App can be found in advertisements on social media and in-store at store points of sale between the 6th August 2026 and 19th August 2026 (inclusive). Entrants to the Prize Draw must be registered members of the Encore Loyalty programme (i) at the time of signing-in and (ii) to redeem the points and (iii) be over 18 years of age.
Employees of Arnotts, and any of its affiliates and any other persons or employees associated with these companies and their families, agents and anyone else connected with the Prize Draw shall not be entitled to enter the Prize Draw.
Once the participant has completed either of the above the participant will automatically be entered into the Prize Draw (a “Qualifying Entrant”).
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to enter the Prize Draw. The Winner and any guest accompanying them to the Event must both be aged 18 years or over at the time of attendance.
Arnotts reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

Prize Draw Entries

To enter the Prize Draw, an entrant is required to download and sign-in on the Arnotts’ App between 00:01 on the 6th August 2026 and 23:59 on the 19th August 2026 (inclusive), the link to download or access the Arnotts’ App can be found in advertisements on social media and at store points of sale between the 6th August 2026 and 19th August 2026 (inclusive). Entrants to the Prize Draw must be registered members of the Encore Loyalty programme (i) at the time of signing in and (ii) to redeem the points and (iii) be over 18 years of age.
Once the entrant has downloaded and signed in on the Arnotts’ App within the qualifying period entrant will automatically be entered into the Prize Draw (a “Qualifying Entrant”).
Qualifying Entrants are limited to one (1) Prize Draw entry, within the qualifying period.
The opening time and date for entries is 00:01 on the 6th August 2026. The closing time and date of the Prize Draw is 23:59 on the 19th August 2026. Entries received after this time will not qualify for entry into the Prize Draw.

The Prize

One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all Qualifying Entrants by an independent party on the 25th August 2026 (the “Winner”). In all matters, the decision of Arnotts shall be final and no correspondence or discussions shall be entered into in this regard.
The Winner will receive 250,000 loyalty points (to a value of two thousand five hundred euros (€2,500)) (the “Prize”).
The Winner must be a registered member of the Encore Loyalty Programme at the time of entry of the Prize Draw and at the time of redemption of the loyalty points.
The Winner will be notified by Arnotts’ Customer Service Department by e-mail within five (5) days of the date of the draw and the points will be applied to the Winner’s loyalty account within five (5) days from the date of the draw.
The Prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The loyalty points are valid to the 30th September 2027 and can be redeemed in Arnotts and Brown Thomas stores and e-commerce sites and via the Arnotts and Brown Thomas apps. The terms and conditions in respect of the Encore Loyalty Programme shall apply, which can be found on Arnotts’ website at https://www.arnotts.ie/about-arnotts/loyalty-programme/. Arnotts reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value, if necessary.
The Prize is awarded at Arnotts’ discretion and no Prize will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of the Winner(s).
Arnotts reserves the right to request written proof of age and proof of identity of the Winner(s) at any time and for any reason.
Arnotts reserves the right at its sole discretion to withhold delivery of the Prize to the Winner(s) until such proof of eligibility and identity of the Winner(s) has been confirmed or to disqualify any Winner(s) from the Prize Draw as it sees fit.

General Terms

Arnotts reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, cancel, terminate or amend the Prize Draw or these Rules at any time and without prior notice and further liability to any entrant.
Arnotts reserves the rights at its sole and absolute discretion to: (a) exclude any person from participating in this Prize Draw; (b) request the Winner to present proof of identity for verification purposes; (c) void any entry of or disqualify an entrant; and (d) select a reserve winner to replace any successful winner who may subsequently be found to be ineligible and disqualified or for such other reason that Arnotts may determine in its reasonable discretion. For avoidance of doubt, Arnotts shall be under no obligation to provide reasons or justifications for exercising any of its rights above. Arnotts reserves its rights to pursue legal action against any individual believed to have undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to the Prize Draw and/or the entry submission process.
Arnotts, and any of its affiliates or any other persons or employees associated with these companies/persons will not be liable to any Qualifying Entrant, Winner or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the Prize Draw or Rules are cancelled or amended in any way.
In the event of any dispute regarding these Rules and all other matters relating to the Prize Draw, the decision of Arnotts shall be final and no correspondence or discussions shall be entered into.
Arnotts does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered howsoever arising from the Prize Draw or the Prize, whether due to any errors or omissions or other cause by Arnotts, its employees, agents or others to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing shall exclude Arnotts’ liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence. Arnotts will not be liable for its inability to contact the Winner(s) or award the Prize as a result of any mistakes or errors in the contact details provided by the Winner(s).
Arnotts does not warrant that the Prize Draw will be free from errors or omissions. The Prize Draw may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons reasonably beyond the control of Arnotts.
The decision(s) of Arnotts on all matters relating to the Prize Draw will be at its sole and absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all entrants and the Winner. No enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertisements and marketing or promotional materials or communications relating to the Prize Draw, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Data Protection

Personal data supplied during the course of this Prize Draw shall be processed for the purpose of the running of the Prize Draw and fulfilment, delivery and arrangement of the Prize Draw and any personal data shall be stored and processed in accordance with Arnotts’ Privacy Policy.
