How To Return An Item(s)

Online orders can be refunded within 21 days of receiving your order. Goods must be accompanied by the dispatch invoice or receipt. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are properly packed and that you receive proof of postage and tracking number from your chosen carrier or postal service.

Nothing in this policy will impact your statutory rights.

Non-returnable items:*
• Unsealed, opened and worn items
• Made-to-measure, made-to-order, altered, or personalised items
• All food items (including hampers).
• Beauty products where packaging has been removed or unsealed.
• Intimates, briefs, swimwear hosiery, and body contour apparel.
• Gift cards.
• Seasonal Products, Christmas decorations, and Christmas trees
• Earrings

Republic of Ireland - An Post Returns


  • • Step 1 Fill out the Returns Form included with your order and enclose it with your goods. Pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure safe transit. If you do not have your Returns Form you can reprint it here.
  • • Step 2 Go to An Post Click and Post Returns and follow the simple instructions on how to return your item(s). You will have two options:
    Option A -  Print the An Post label and stick to your parcel ensuring you have removed any other labels. Present the parcel at your local An Post and request a receipt. Please retain this as your proof of postage until your refund has been processed. Please note items may take up to 14 days to reach us.
    Option B - Book a collection. An Post will collect the parcel from a specified address on a nominated day. If selecting this option An Post will provide the label and affix to your parcel for you.

Northern Ireland – Postal Returns


  • • Step 1 Fill out the Returns Form included with your order and enclose it with your goods. Pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure safe transit. If you do not have your Returns Form you can reprint it here.
  • • Step 2 Using the freepost label enclosed please present the parcel to your local post office and request a receipt.

In-Store Returns

You may return item(s) in-store by visiting the Click & Collect location at the Lower Basement Level.

• Online purchases These must be returned within 21 days from when you received your order and be in a saleable condition along with the order confirmation email and dispatch invoice.

• Items purchased in-store These may be exchanged within 28 days, or refunded within 14 days of purchase. Please note merchandise must be accompanied by an original receipt or a digital receipt on the Arnotts App. Refunds are issued to the original method of payment. A gift receipt is not an original receipt. Reduced price merchandise may only be exchanged.

Furniture Returns


You may return standard items of furniture purchased online within 14 days of delivery receipt, unassembled, in original packaging and fit for resale.
As our furniture items are generally made to order, a pickup and restocking fee of 20% of the item's sale value will generally apply for standard furniture returns purchased online and a flat fee of €39 will apply for any Rathwood Furniture returned. This will cover the pickup of your furniture and internal administrative costs. Please get in touch with furnitureaftersales@arnotts.ie if you would like us to arrange pickup and refund. Bespoke furniture pieces that have been customised outside of our standard fabric ranges cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Pre-loved returns policy


All items can be returned within our standard 28 day policy. The item(s) must be in the same condition that it was sold in and returned with tags still attached and with all items it was supplied with. Please note that given the unique characteristics of each pre-loved item, a thorough inspection will be carried out by our expert teams before we can process your refund.

Processing your refund


Once your returned items are received and inspected, we will endeavour to process your refund as soon as possible. This can take up to 14 working days depending on your original method of payment. If you received an incorrect item, we will also reimburse you for the cost of postage.


WEEE Returns (Waste Electrical And Electronic Equipment)


We work in line with the Environmental Production Agency (EPA) so you can bring back waste (WEEE) to Arnotts free of charge when you are purchasing an electrical item. Waste batteries may be retuned free of charge. You may return your item in our Living and electrical departments in-store. Our Producer Registration Number is 00452WB.
