If you wish to return an item which you have purchased online, please download and complete the below form.
Our store is now open, you may return items up to 14 days after our store reopens on the 17th of May.



How to return an item(s)

Republic of Ireland - An Post Returns

Step 1. Fill out the Returns Form included with your order and enclose it with your goods. Pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure safe transit. If you do not have your Returns Form you can reprint it here

Step 2. Go to ReturnMyShopping.ie and follow the simple instructions on how to return your item(s). A fee of €4.95 applies per parcel for all returns. You will have two options:

Option A -  Print the An Post label and stick to your parcel ensuring you have removed any other labels. Present the parcel at your local An Post and request a receipt. Please retain this as your proof of postage until your refund has been processed. Please note items may take up to 14 days to reach us.

Option B - If selecting the pickup service. An Post will collect the parcel from a specified address on a nominated day. If selecting this option An Post will provide the label and affix to your parcel for you.

Northern Ireland – Postal Returns

Step 1. Fill out the Returns Form included with your order and enclose it with your goods. Pack your product carefully, preferably in the original box with the original packaging. If this is not possible, please pack to equivalent standards to ensure safe transit. If you do not have your Returns Form you can reprint it here

Step 2. Bring your parcel at your local Post Office and send it to: Arnotts, 12 Henry Street, Dublin 1. Customer is responsible for paying postage and they must sent by registered post. Please retain your recipt as proof of postage until your refund has been processed.
Please note items may take up to 14 days to reach us.

All returned items must be unworn, unused and in their original packaging. We will endeavour to reimburse you within 14 days of receipt of your returned goods.

In-Store Returns

You may return item(s) in-store by visiting the Click & Collect location at the Lower Basement Level.

Furniture Returns

Under the European Directive on Consumer Rights (Directive 2011/83/EU), the European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts made by means of Distance Communication) Regulations 2001 as amended and the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 you have the right to return any items purchased online provided that:

  1. It is within 14 days of delivery receipt.
  2. The goods are in perfect condition and have not been assembled.
  3. The goods are in their original packaging and fit for resale.
  4. A pickup and restocking fee of 20% of the items sell value will apply for furniture returns. This will cover the pickup of your furniture and internal administrative costs. Please get in touch with furnitureaftersales@arnotts.ie to arrange pickup and refund.
  5. Bespoke furniture pieces that have been customised outside of our standard fabric ranges cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  6. Please note that for hygiene reasons, mattresses and bed sets cannot be returned unless they are in their original packaging and the seal has not been broken.

Processing your refund

Once your returned items are received and inspected, we will endeavour to process your refund as soon as possible. This can take up to 14 working days depending on your original method of payment. If you received an incorrect item, we will also reimburse you for the cost of postage.

Returns Policy

You can return an item within 28 days of receipt of your order. All returned items must be unworn, unused and in their original packaging. We will endeavour to reimburse you within 14 days of receipt of your returned goods.

Any breakages or damages must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. If a product is defective in any way, please contact us and we will provide you with a "free returns label" so that you can return the item at no cost.

In the interest of safety and hygiene, personal grooming products, hats, lingerie, hosiery, underwear, earrings, swimwear, mattress protectors, duvets, duvet covers, sheets, pillows, pillowcases and pillow protectors cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened or damaged, unless faulty. Beauty products and computer software which contain a security seal can only be returned if the security seal has not been tampered with and/or unsealed. Watches and jewellery cannot be altered in any way. Personalised items cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned unless damaged or faulty.

On inspection, if we find that the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, you will be liable for the diminished value of the goods. In such circumstances, we may withhold an amount to reflect the diminished value of the goods. Please contact us at onlinecustomerservice@arnotts.ie for further information. Pre-loved returns policy:

All items can be returned within our standard 28 day policy. The item(s) must be in the same condition that it was sold in and returned with tags still attached and with all items it was supplied with. Please note that given the unique characteristics of each pre-loved item, a thorough inspection will be carried out by our expert teams before we can process your refund.
