Nural™ sensors for greater intelligence. A network of sensors integrated into the Dyson Supersonic Nural™ hairdryer allows it to automatically activate new functions to optimise your styling routine. The transparent ring reveals the technology inside.

Scalp protection mode: A ToF (Time of Flight) sensor automatically adjusts temperature to enhance natural shine and help protect the scalp.

Accessory learning function: A Hall sensor recognises each accessory and automatically adapts to your styling preferences.

Pause with you: A motion-sensing accelerometer understands when the appliance is placed down during styling.

Learns and adapts to your styling preferences: The smart accessories come pre-set with recommended airflow and heat, which you can always change and customize. Your hairdryer will remember the last settings used.

Dome mode: Diffuses air to enhance natural waves and curls for a more defined look.

Diffuse mode: Gives volume to the roots to create a softer texture on natural waves and curls.

Wave+Curl diffuser: One attachment, two modes. The new diffuser diffuses the airflow in two different modes, reducing frizz. Pull out the attachment with the teeth to use the dome mode or insert it for the diffused mode and get the desired styling.

The capsule lighting indicates the air temperature: The internal LED changes color from blue to red to indicate the heat setting in use.

Scalp protection mode button:

ON: automatically reduces heat when the hairdryer is close to the scalp
OFF: manually choose the heat settings

The capsule lighting is deactivated if the scalp protection mode is deactivated when compatible accessories are in use.
