WELCOME SUMMER HOME

In anticipation of warmer days ahead, our Spring/Summer 2022 collection combines warm nuances, sustainable materials and tactile designs that capture the very essence of the hopeful season to come. Here, Orla Neligan, set stylist of our SS22 shoot, talks us through the new season upgrades.

Some houses tell you their story right from the start. Perhaps it’s a period residence with a rich history that’s trickled into corners, or a blank canvas, waiting for a story to be written. Whatever the space, most will agree that making a house a home is as much about how a space feels as it looks: it requires reflection and thoughtful choices to create spaces that meet our needs, express our personalities and enrich our lives. Stepping inside this home feels like a walk through a California-cool interior, the perfect backdrop to showcase our Arnotts Spring/Summer 2022 interiors and lifestyle collection which is a story that’s warm, inviting, comfortable and cocooning with tactile delights that include softwoods and linens, rounded shapes and curved furniture.

Summer in...The Bedroom

A bedroom needs to feel like a calm sanctuary, where you can go to unwind from the day’s stresses; a place to feel rested and relaxed. Arnotts Lazy Linen range has a lovely laid-back vibe that not only scores high on sustainability but is naturally breathable and durable making it a great luxe, low-maintenance choice all year round - especially when topped with a cosy Foxford blanket in winter. We love the soft earthy colours that range from deep navy to dusty pink, warm forest green and oatmeal that pair beautifully with the Harrison Spinks Headboard.

Summer at...The Dining Table

A dining table needs to withstand some serious wear and tear which Ethnicraft have down to a fine art. Effortless, timeless design and durability is one of their trump cards. Their Bok extendable oak dining table is a lesson in sleek, warm minimalism that feels ‘everyday’ yet elegant, and when paired with their Bok black oak dining chairs and Villeroy & Boch’s matte porcelain tableware in slate, it immediately ups the dinner dial but feels equally casual and lightweight in its white version.

Summer with...The Occasional Chair

Curves are in and Ferm Living’s Rico chair and matching pouf is a classic example of the trend with its elegant, comfortable, curved shape and textured boucle fabric – a nod to the retro aesthetic that’s never far from a well-balanced interior. The Rico chair pairs beautifully with Ferm’s Arum Light, which features a black marble base and leaf-shaped lampshade that sits quietly and elegantly over any chair.

Summer with...The Sideboard

Rattan can be woven into any space thanks to its durable, versatile nature. Light & Living’s Nipas cabinet adds a touch of rustic chic to any living space. We love it in a bedroom in lieu of a bedside locker or in a hallway topped with plants, books and accessories. Its two-tier shelving means plenty of storage space, too.
