Cooking in this cocotte from STAUB is easy and healthy. It is made of cast iron, which guarantees perfect temperature distribution as well as the preservation of moisture and aromas. The enamel coating further enhances these qualities and makes the cocotte even more practical to use. This round cocotte with a diameter of 28cm and a volume of 6.7l. It can be used for slow cooking, stews or meat and vegetable dishes. Thanks to its special lid design with self-moistening system, all the condensation water is collected and evenly distributed back onto the food. Meat and fish stay juicy this way, vegetables become particularly tender and all the aromas are retained in the flavourful sauce.
