AW17 Beauty Report

The Arnotts AW17 Season Launch catwalk was awash with dewy complexions. Charlotte Tilbury makeup artists used the iconic range of rose gold beauty and skincare to achieve minimal, natural-looking beauty with a focus on glowing skin.

The New Nude

The fresh-faced, no-makeup makeup look has been trending season after season but for AW17 the look has evolved into something more sophisticated that works on young and mature skin types.

The backstage process at the AW17 season launch show was a finely tuned machine with a focus on flawless, natural complexions and luminous skin. The glow had to be blended in several steps from the Charlotte Tilbury Multi Miracle Glow Cleansing Balm base right up to the final dusting of Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Glow highlighter.

This season, makeup should be easy-to-use and wear. Fresh natural skin is key so complexion products should be the base of every makeup collection. For Charlotte Tilbury, that means Magic Cream, Wonderglow and Light Wonder Foundation.

Core Heritage

The application was the same for each model, however natural features were enhanced to keep the look unique. The rose-tinted flush was achieved by blending a small amount of Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk on the apples of the cheeks. The barely there makeup was complemented by straight and sleek hair. Forget the bouncy blow dry, pin-straight, high-shine hair should be slicked close to the head and worn arrow straight for the new season.
