This elegant designed Quaker armchair has clean lines and soft curved edges. The chair bow is steam bent from a single ash rail into a tight radius bend and then sanded and shaped to give its subtle and elegant profile. Traditional wedge joints, where the legs come through the seat, a wedge is inserted into a cut, before the leg stump is hand sanded flush with the seat, to create a lovely design detail and a very strong joint. This Quaker arm chair is finished in your choice of lacquer and paint colours that protects the timber and can complement your decor. You can also order a seat pad for this chair, fabrics are from the ercol collection. The Quaker dining armchair will sit with both traditional and contemporary décor. An evolution of the Windsor design, this chair is a tall u-shaped and has a spindle back and oval seat for a supportive sit.
