Filling characteristics: Settlement of fillings is normal in handmade mattresses and is not a manufacturing fault. The fillings within Visrping mattresses are designed to mould to the shape of your body over the first few weeks of use, enhancing the comfort and support the mattress provides. Regular turning or rotation (for non-turn models) of the mattress is required to enable the fillings to settle evenly.

Care

Care: Do not bend or roll your mattress - this will damage the spring unit and invalidate any warranties or guarantees. Before first use, stand it on its side and air in a well ventilated room for several hours; this will disperse any natural odours. If moving house keep the mattress wrapped, supported and flat. Turn your mattress periodically to ensure even use. Do not use a plastic mattress covering. Do not jump on the mattress or sit on its edge. Never use your mattress on a slatted base with slats spaced more than 6cm apart, or on a worn-out divan or bed base. If using your mattress on a slatted base, place a mattress pad between the slats and the mattress. Check the legs, castors, screws and bolts of your divan regularly for tightness. The natural materials in this mattress will settle over time and adapt to your body shape. On delivery your mattress may appear shorter than its divan, but will return to its correct size within a short time.
