Clashing Prints at Home

While a neutral palette can be easy to mix and match at home, there is nothing like injecting some colour and a mix of prints into your interiors scheme to liven things up a little.

If you are a little unsure about taking a bold step into this world, start slowly. Small items where you can introduce print include bedlinen, tableware, cushions, bath towels and rugs. Cushions are a great place to start, where you can play with prints and textures. Scatter Box offer a wide range of floral and print cushions, perfect for clashing with other prints, or sitting on their own to spice up a couch or chair in a block colour.

The Pacific collection from Royal Doulton features a mix of prints and patterns within its collection. Taking inspiration from the coast, the tableware sees water-coloured brush-strokes, splatters and stylised waves in an aquatic family of indigo blue colours. We also love the Denby Blue collection, with beautiful sea-tones in a myriad of patterns throughout the range. Why not clash your bold colours by pairing your Denby sets with colour-coded Le Creuset cookware? Now you just need to be bold and pick your prints!

Irish brand Foxford have bedlinen collections with beautiful aqua and pink geometric prints, as well as the distinct deep blue Ikat print.
