It monitors internal temperatures to indicate whether the appliance is set to the correct level. The large, easy-read black dial on this freezer or fridge thermometer features two blue safe zone markings - 0°C to -4°C for fridges, and -17°C to -35°C for freezers. Any temperature reading outside of these zones, or in the red warning zone (5°C to 35°C) highlights inefficiency, allowing you to see from glance whether your fridge or freezer is too warm.
