The Quaker dining chair complements both traditional and contemporary decor. An evolution of the Windsor design, this chair presents a tall u-shaped, six spindle back and sculpted oval seat for a supportive sit. The chair bow is steam bent from a single straight ash rail into a tight radius bend. Traditional wedge joints are used, where the legs come through the seat and a wedge inserted into a cut, before being hand sanded flush with the seat, both provide a lovely design detail and a strong joint. This timeless chair is designed to complement many interior styles and can be finished in a wide choice ercol lacquer colours. You can also order the chair with a seat pad, made in fabric from ercol collection. The Quaker dining chair will sit with both traditional and contemporary décor.
