These days, skincare is a science. We’re here to help you make an informed choice when it comes to your beauty regime. These are the ingredients you need, broken down by skin type.

The skincare choices you make now will have lifelong impacts on your skin health. We recommend a simple 3-step routine: cleanser, moisturiser and SPF.

1. Hyaluronic Acid

Suitable for all skin types, Hyaluronic Acid is a hydration powerhouse. You’ll find it in: cleansers, moisturisers and SPF.

2. Ceramides

Ceramides are the building blocks of a health skin barrier, preventing moisture loss and irritation.

3. Niacinamide

Niacinamide is a hero for hormonal skin, because it prevents acne by reducing sebum production.

Ageing Skin

Did you know that the eyes, hands and neck are often the first to show signs of ageing? This might include lines, wrinkles, texture, and tone changes. For this skin type, we recommend prioritising active ingredients.

1. Retinol

Retinol accelerates skin cell turnover, meaning it promotes the growth of new skin cells. It also stimulates collagen-producing cells called fibroblasts to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

2. Ceramides

Your skin naturally contains Ceramides, which diminish with age and damage. Ceramides help repair the barrier of your skin by locking in moisture to guard against bacteria and germs.

3. Vitamin C

Vitamin C is both an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It aids with collagen production and lightens and brightens the skin, while also protecting against environmental damage and hyperpigmentation.

Dry Skin

Typically tight, dull, and textured, dry skin may have closed tight pores and pigmentation. If you're dealing with dry skin, we recommend oil-based products to replenish the skins lack in moisture.

1. Ceramides

Your skin's barrier, or outermost layer, can be damaged by harsh products. Ceramides boosts your skin's ability to retain moisture and stay hydrated.

2. Hyaluronic Acid

One word: Hydration! A natural hydrator, Hyaluronic Acid plumps and moisturises the skin. With it's high water-attracting ability, it holds 1000 times it's weight in water.

3. Vitamin C

One of the most beneficial ingredients you can apply to your skin topically. Available in many forms, Vitamin C brightens, helps uneven skin tone and has anti-ageing properties.

Dehydrated Skin

Dehydrated skin is different than dry skin. Dehydrated skin lacks moisture in the outermost layer, and this may result in fine lines. For this skin type, we recommend applying humectants to replenish your skin, or products that attract water.

1. Hyaluronic Acid

2. Glycerin

Glycerin pulls water from the air to keep the skin hydrated. Glycerin can remain in the skin for a while, which helps the skin retain moisture and minimises water loss.

3. Niacinamide/Vitamin B3

Niacinamide reduces redness in the skin while also enhancing hydration and strengthening the skin barrier.

Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin may be less tolerant of cosmetics and skincare products, and can sometimes show redness or tingling. If you're dealing with sensitive skin, we recommend fragrance free, gentle ingredients that can help soothe your skin.

1. Niacinamide

Niacinamide reduces redness, enhances hydration and strengthens the skin's barrier. It's beneficial for senstive skin and will gently improve appearance, uneven skin tone, and pore size.

2. Ceramides

Your skin's barrier, or outermost layer, can be damaged by harsh products. Ceramides boosts your skin's ability to retain moisture and stay hydrated.

Acne Prone/Oily Skin

Typically tight, dull, and textured, dry skin may have closed tight pores and pigmentation. If you're dealing with dry skin, we recommend oil-based products to replenish the skins lack in moisture.

1. Salicylic Acid

Salicylic Acid is an acne-fighting powerhouse. It can clear out pore-clogging substances and excess oil to ward off whiteheads, blackheads and pimples.

2. Niacinamide

Niacinamide prevents acne by reducing sebum and redness, while also enhancing hydration and strengthening the skin barrier. It improves uneven skin tone, and pore size.

3. Peptides

Due to their anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, Peptides are excellent for post-acne treatment and for preventing future breakouts.
