Staying at Ballymaloe House is the ultimate Irish staycation and escape to the countryside. As Ireland's original country house hotel it needs no introduction, but you may not know that its nestled on a 300 acre farm and minutes from the East Cork coastline and the Ballymaloe Cookery School. Relaxation is the order of the day, when the sun shines enjoy the incredible food the house is so famous for, take time in the beautiful decor and walk the bloom-filled walled gardens. You can also have a splash in the outside pool, or play tennis or croquet in the lawn. If the Irish summer throws you a rainy day or two simply relax by the fire in the Drawing Room or in one of many peaceful snug havens within the house.

A visit to Ballymaloe House remains all about the food. Farm to Fork, Garden to Table and the philosophy of serving only the very best of what is available seasonally while supporting local suppliers is at the very core of the whole experience.
