If you're a fan of Whispering Angel – the perennially popular, whisper-pink, ultra-dry Provence rosé – then you'll no doubt have been eagerly awaiting the release of Caves d’Esclans' 2022 vintage. The good news is that the 2022 release repeats everything you love about previous vintages – it's pale and pure with notes of fresh citrus and red fruit on the nose, and has a palate that is round and well-balanced with great acidity and structure – but with a more creamy, textured and full body. This is a lovely, grown-up rosé.
