What We’re Doing To Help
During these unprecedented times, we believe that we’re all in this together. Here’s what Arnotts has been doing to #HelpOurHeroes.
Now more than ever, we’re showing our appreciation for the essential frontline workers who have been at the forefront of the global crisis. We’ve donated a total of 10,000 disposable medical gloves, blankets, duvets, pillows and beauty care sets to the healthcare teams at the Mater Hospital. We’ve also donated essential appliances like kettles, toasters and a TV, to help make much-needed breaks a little happier.
Over 150 toys and board games were donated to the kids at CHI Crumlin, along with books and beauty sets for young patients and parents.

A very special delivery of @officialbrownthomas @arnottsdublin packs filled with toys, games and @clinique goodies made its way to the children and families in CHI at Crumlin on Friday with the very kind help of Ronan from Richmond Homes. These packs were such a fantastic treat for families in the hospital and we are hugely grateful to Brown Thomas Arnotts for making it possible and for Ronan for all his support #WhateverItTakes #TogetherWithOurHeroes #CrumlinKids
Now more than ever it is important for our business to help where we can and support those who are most vulnerable. We were really happy to be able to work with one of our key suppliers Banaghans & Co. to make a donation of 5 palettes to Temple Street hospital with around 8,800 products which included activity books, colouring pencils and games for the patients.
These products were made up into activity packs for little patients in isolation within the hospital.
To show our appreciation for the older members of our society, through the HSE we donated tablets to nursing homes helping the residents keep in touch with their families while they can't be together physically.
Our team has also been volunteering their time to get involved with AgeAction's Getting Started KIT initiative, which helps older people stay in touch with family. This great initiative helps to educate older people and helpt them become tech-savvy so that they can send emails, download apps and even use FaceTime!
