Patented Skovby #32 in an exclusive design with a steel base plate. The #32 round table has 3 folding leaves stored in base. The table is equipped with a unique extension system. By turning the tabletop this is then split into three. This provides room for the extension leaves, which are released and unfold from their position in the base when light pressure is applied. The table can be extented from six to nine seatings. The #32 table with steel base plate is also available with base in veneered walnut and top in glossy or frosted glass. Design by function has been the Skovby design principle for decades starting with the very first “pull-and-unfold” table in 1974. Design by function is the art of designing furniture with product functionality as the main driver and inspirational starting point. Design by function is NOT purely functionality. Design by function is NOT purely design. Why choose when you can have both? Design by function is having both beauty and strong product functionality in one.
